Eagle Lake began in 1990 and was developed as a new neighborhood by Oakmont Development Company. (Check out the detailed feature article about Eagle Lake's earliest days in the September 2017 Eagle Lake Homeowners Association Newsletter. Go to it from our home page.)
Oakmont Development has created comfortable sub-developments for a full range of lifestyles in Allen County providing homeowners with good investment opportunity and an attractive, safe community environment for families of all ages. All of that is still true today.
Oakmont along with the Indiana Partnership developed the Eagle Lake subdivision at which time Eagle Lake Homeowners Association became incorporated as a non-profit corporation. Eagle Lake has about 3 ½ miles of paved road and quiet cul-de-sacs.
Eagle Lake is a development of 149 Single Family homes with Covenants and by-laws to protect and maintain the integrity of the subdivision. The Association members consist of every owner of a lot in the subdivision. The Board members are voted in or volunteered into the board and all services are performed without pay in any form. All owners of a lot are allowed one vote for each lot.
We are homeowners who are dedicated to a safe and enjoyable place to live. We enjoy an environment that is a great place to raise families or in which to retire...a place to walk without worry, to visit with neighbors and to share ideas that will build upon the past and make better the future of our community.
We welcome your opinion and advice. This is the foundation to a great community. Our communication is our key to success, and to listen objectively and voice concerns openly.
