Eagle Lake Homeowners Association

What's new in Eagle Lake

Eagle Lake is a 'highly sought-after' owner-occupied neighborhood located in a prime residential area of Fort Wayne in the middle of the hottest development areas of the region.

Eagle Lake is located in the Northwest Allen School District, recognized for its educational excellence and desirability by growing families.

For all of these reasons and more, Eagle Lake is a special place to live with your family, and where homes grow in value and sell quickly.

The July Newsletter has been distributed and is also available on this site.  An updated association directory will be emailed to residents in mid September.

The Dupont (south) entrance to Eagle Lake remains open as road work continues. It is possible that there will be delays and partial closures of this entrance as widening and paving work progresses.

That portion of Dupont Road between LaCabreah and Hickory Tree is closed until September 14th for construction of the Pufferbelly Trail overpass. This is two weeks later than the original 'reopen to limited traffic' target date at the end of August. Dawson’s Creek is open for detour traffic. The traffic light at LaCabreah and Dupont is a flashing red light 'stop' for all directions. LaCabreah is now connected to Talis Park and can be used to access Badiac, though a sign at Dupont discourages through traffic into LaCabreah.

*This is a 2-year, $12.1-million project, Phend & Brown the general contractor. The 1.8 mile project makes Dupont a four-lane road, with center median, left turn lanes and abundant planting. Project completion is late summer of 2019.

Hallmark of Eagle Lake is the dedication of its homeowners to foster a safe, enjoyable and special place to live while improving our property values. We cherish the Eagle Lake environment with beautifully-maintained yards and landscaping which makes it the perfect place for families or in which to retire. Conveniently located near shopping, hospitals and schools, Eagle Lake is the ideal place to walk without worry, to visit with neighbors and to share ideas that will build upon the past and make better the future of our Eagle Lake community.
